Bacon Wrapped Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • Large Shrimp (12-14 count)
  • Bacon
  • Cajun Bry
  • Grilling Salt

Directions:

  • Wrap cleaned shrimp with ½ slice (or whole slice) of bacon
  • Toothpick bacon into place
  • Put on grill and spray with Cajun Bry
  • Sprinkle on Grilling Salt and spray with Bry again (the more Bry you use the hotter it will get)

Tip: When bacon cooks it can flame up. Keep an eye on it and move it around on the grill.


4 Pepper Sauce Salad Dressing
(a tangy oil and vinegar dressing)

Ingredients:

  • 4 Pepper Sauce
  • Virgin Olive Oil
  • Steak Salt or Grilling Salt

Directions:

  • Fill a cruet or jar with 2 ¾ cups 4 Pepper Sauce to 1/3 virgin oil to make the amount of dressing you want.
  • Add Steak Salt or Grilling Salt to taste
  • Put lid on jar and shake to combine

Veggie Bry

Ingredients:

  • Onions
  • Red Bell Peppers
  • Yellow Bell Peppers
  • Orange Bell Peppers
  • Bry
  • Steak Salt or Grilling Salt

Directions:

  • Quarter onions
  • Quarter peppers (remove seeds)
  • Place on grill
  • Spray down with Bry
  • Sprinkle on Steak Salt or Grilling Salt
  • Cook until softened (browned around edges)

Bry Grilled Carrots

Ingredients:

  • Raw Whole Carrots
  • Bry (any of the three flavors –Chip likes Mesquite for this receipe)
  • Grilling Salt

Directions:

  • Wrap about 6-8 whole carrots in waxed paper and twist ends
  • Put in microwave for about 6-8 minutes. This will precook and soften them.
  • Place carrots on the grill and spray with Bry
  • Sprinkle with Grilling Salt and close grill lid
  • Check and turn.
  • Cook until brown (ends will turn real brown…Yum)

4 Pepper Sauce Beets

Ingredients:

  • Fresh or Jar Beets
  • 4 Pepper Sauce
  • Onion
  • Hard Boiled Eggs (optional)

Directions:

  • Clean beets if fresh
  • Slice beets and onion and cook onions until soft (Note, if using canned beats, cook onions until soft and then add beets)
  • Add about a 1/3 bottle of 4 Pepper Sauce. If not enough to cover add some cider vinegar
  • Sugar and Splenda to taste
  • Add slices of hard boiled egg and let stand a few minutes

Cornish Game Bry

Ingredients:

  • Cornish Game Hens
  • Bry (any of the three flavors)
  • Grilling Salt

Directions:

  • Speed up the grilling process by prebaking the game hens in the oven at 350 (degree symbol) for about 1 hour
  • Put on the grill to finish
  • Spray with Bry
  • Sprinkle on Grilling Salt to desired taste
  • Close lid on a medium hot grill for a few minutes
  • Turn over and spray again and add more Grilling Salt if desired.

Squash and Sweet Potato Side

Ingredients:

  • Butternut Squash
  • 1 Medium Sweet Potato
  • Butter or Margarine
  • Steak Salt

Directions:

  • Bake squash and sweet potato the usual way
  • Remove from shell…HOT! You might want to wait awhile to let it cool slightly
  • Mix sweet potato and squash together in a mixing bowl woth fork or masher *Add in the butter or margarine and mash.
  • Put in cake pan and add a few pats of butter on top.
  • Sprinkle on a dash of Steak Salt
  • Keep in warm oven until served.

Tart Cherry Crisp

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pound of Dried Cherries
  • 2-4 Tablespoons Splenda or Sugar
  • ½ Cup Regular Rolled Oats
  • ½ Cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ Cup Flour
  • ¼ Cup Butter or Margarine
  • ¼ Cup Nut Meg

Directions:

  • Soak cherries in rum overnight, covering the bowl or pan with plastic wrap
  • Dried Cranberries (or tart cherries or other dried fruit)
  • Put in baking dish and stir in sugar
  • Mix all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl with a fork and cut in butter.
  • Cover cherries with dry mixture
  • Bake 35-40 Minutes at 375
  • Serve warm

Christmas Morning Cherries in Cream Sauce on French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup fat free or regular liquid coffee creamer
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • Dash of Nutmeg to Taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Splenda or Sugar
  • ½ Bag Dried Cherries (can soak in rum for a while -- optional)

Directions:

  • Put Coffee Mate in glass container (should fill about ½ way)
  • Add in flour, nutmeg and sugar
  • Put on lid and shake to mix ingredients
  • Pour into large pan or skillet with sides
  • Cook over medium heat and continually stir with wire wisk
  • Thicken (reduce) liquid to desired thickness
  • Add cherries
  • Pour over French Toast

Wassail with Dried Cranberries

Ingredients:

  • 1 Bottle Red Wine (Chip prefers a light red like Beaujolais or Chianti)
  • 1 Packet of Mannheim Steamroller Wassail Mix

Directions:

  • Heat bottle of wine in a sauce pan with a lid
  • Mix in Wassail mix
  • Add fruit and replace lid,
  • Simmer 10-20 minutes on low heat
  • Serve in coffee mugs

Mannheim Steamer

Ingredients:

  • Mannheim Steamroller Cinnamon Hot Chocolate
  • Hot Water (one cup per coffee mug)
  • Peppermint Schnapps

Directions:

  • Heat water and put in cup
  • Add 3 scoops of Cinnamon Hot Chocolate
  • Add ½ to 1 shot of peppermint schnapps
  • Sit back and read a Mannheim Steamroller Christmas book while listening to a Mannheim Christmas album (and drink the Mannheim Steamer of course)


ried Cherry Sauerkraut
(Great Side Dish for Pork or Christmas Goose)

Ingredients:

  • 1 Can (or more) Bavarian Sauerkraut
  • Couple handfuls of Dried Cherries
  • Few Strips of Bacon

Directions:

  • Fry bacon (cut up) in sauce pan for sauerkraut
  • Take bacon out – leaving the bacon fat if you wish
  • Put sauerkraut into pan
  • Add cherries (or other preferred dry fuit)
  • Cover and heat
